Terms of use

These terms of use govern your use of the VenueSpine website and any demonstration we give you. The website is run by Aiden Hemmings, VenueSpine’s founder, who is based in South Africa, and Alan Hemmings, who is based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The website is intended for businesses and organisations in the United Kingdom. If you use it as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

VenueSpine is not yet on general sale in the United Kingdom, and we do not resell it, or allow anyone else to resell it, at present. You cannot buy a subscription through this website. You can send us an enquiry or ask for a demo.

• An enquiry or a demo places you under no obligation, and does not form a contract to supply the service
• The prices shown are indicative, in pounds sterling and exclusive of VAT, and may change before VenueSpine goes on sale
• Features described on the website, including integrations with third parties, may change, and some may be released in stages
• When VenueSpine goes on sale, subscriptions will be supplied under a separate customer agreement that you will be able to read before you sign up

You must not:

• Use the website in a way that breaks any law or regulation
• Try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any system connected to it
• Interfere with or disrupt the website, including by attacking it or overloading it
• Introduce viruses or other harmful material
• Send spam, or anything abusive, defamatory or unlawful, through the contact form
• Copy large parts of the website, or scrape it by automated means, other than through the documented public interface

We may suspend or restrict access to the website, or to any demo environment, at any time and without notice if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

If we give you access to a demonstration environment, it is for evaluating VenueSpine only. Please do not enter real personal data about your guests, customers or staff into it. We may reset or remove a demonstration environment, and anything in it, at any time.

The website, the VenueSpine name and logo, and the software, design and documentation it describes belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own business evaluation. You may not otherwise copy, adapt or distribute them without our written permission.

Other names and marks on the website, such as Ticketmaster, Stripe and Sage, belong to their owners and are used only to describe integrations.

We work to keep the website accurate, but its content is general information about VenueSpine and is not advice. We do not promise that it is complete or up to date, or that the website will always be available or free from errors.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.

Because the website is provided free of charge for information, and subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable to businesses for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the website or a demonstration, including loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Our privacy notice explains how we use the personal data you give us, including what you send through the contact form.

We may change these terms from time to time, for example when VenueSpine goes on sale. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Please check them whenever you use the website.

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
